In the present modern age of computers mankind has become almost entirely mechanical. Life has become tense in every occupation. This resulted in total segregation from Mother Nature. The more we alienate our body and mind from nature the more we sick and ill we become. This means that, there exist a good relation between human and nature. Thus the human race started using natural sources as a mean of treatment of diseases and injuries from the early days of civilization on earth. In its long journey from ancient time of modern age the human race has successfully used natural source products as effective therapeutic tools for fighting against diseases and various other health hazards. Natural products are the valuable source of structurally diverse compounds, which passes clinically used therapeutic agents are of natural products origin, used either in the naturally occurring forms or as the derivatives or analogs after structural optimization. These natural products have been well recognized and documented as a source of inspiration of drug discovery.
