Efficient management of Land Environment can be suggested processing recent Satellite Imageries of the project area through software applications such as ERDAS Imagine and ArcGIS. Land use and land cover change study is one such study which helps in understanding the interactions of the human activities with the environment by simulating changes during the past and predict the future Land use for the purpose of planning and other environmental studies.
