Energy Consumption Pattern and Ghgs Emission: a Study from Hilly District of Nepal Dinesh Ghimire

This book gives the clear knowledge on the energy consumption pattern and green house emission trends of the hilly districts of Nepal. The broad objectives is to assess the energy consumption pattern, the amount of Green House Gases emission from the current energy use patterns and to identify the better energy use options to reduce the current emission. The major energy resources used in the study area was fuel wood which was used in the dominant amount among the other resources. The use of this traditional fuel leads to the different environmental issues like deforestation, indoor air pollution and ultimately affecting on human health. The research was based on primary and secondary data and the designed methodology was used to assess the energy consumptions situation.
