This book covers the various approaches of synthesis of trifluoromethylated piperidinic alkaloids and related compounds. The author has focused on the asymmetric synthesis of these compounds using Mannich Reaction as key step which is said be an efficient and convinient tool towards the synthesis of piperidine skeleton.
