?Children are the future and foundation of a nation; everyone should keep a careful eye for their development and upheaval?. but Children who lost their parents or single parent due to AIDS and are suffering from emotional trauma, stigma & discrimination, deprived of basic needs (such as food, shelter and cloths) health, education, loosing identify (no ration cards and birth registration) and sibling separation. Children deprived of parental love, care, affection and support and depend on others such as grannies; relatives, hostels, homes, friends, communities and foster families. A few of the foster families are exploiting children and snatching their properties and are being thrown out to the streets. As a result Children had to stop their education and resulting in emergence of child headed families, child labour,street children, mentally retarded, committing anti-social acts. If orphan is a girl, she has more risk than boys. Possibilities of them being universal in trafficking and sex work are high. Against this background, the present study is an attempt to throw light on the problem of AIDS Orphans.
