This book consists of 5 chapters out of which aspect of exponentiation, concept of Addition Chain and different Soft Computing tools like GA and EP discussed in chapter one. Genetic Algorithm guided faster exponentiation technique along with elaborated description of Genetic Algorithm and optimization of Addition chain for faster exponentiation has been presented in chapter two. Chapter three deals with elaborated description of Evolutionary Programming with their different classifications and a Evolutionary Programming guided faster exponentiation procedure. Discussion has been done on length of minimum addition chain produced by GA and EP and all other existing techniques. Results obtained through implementation of proposed techniques are discussed and compared with different existing techniques.
