The 21st century is witnessing revolutionary impact of information technology in research society. Digital library is a global virtual library or network of electronic libraries. Publishing and information delivery systems, due to the emergence of internet, particularly the World Wide Web (www) are a new medium of information storage and delivery in present scenario. A significant change in the global information process has been noticed in the publication of journals and other important information resources in electronic form. Information technology has thrown a new challenge to the libraries for generating new information regarding new research developments.
