This book is about extraction of new compounds from the roots of Alhagi marourum and their application in medicine. Thirteen new compounds were isolated and characterized by spectroscopic and chemical studies. All these compounds were examined for their pharmacological and phytochemical activities. These compounds showed extremely good activity for the enlargement of ureter, resulting in the removal of kidney stones.
