Cancer is a disease that is effecting majority of the population in the world and oral cancer is not an exception, Approximately ninety four percent of all oral malignancies are squamous cell carcinomas. Research has been carried out in various aspects to tackle the ill effects and to prevent cancer as such. There is a good chance to stop cancer in a precancerous state before it transforms fully,to attain this the precancerous lesions and way they transform to cancer has to be understood in micro level and studies have to be done to stop them from transforming,this book explains few important ways of analyzing this and also the detailed steps in which one of the analysis is carried out,it shows each step in detail which has to be carried out in the lab,it also shows the microscopic pictures of stained slides which in itself explains the lesions .
