Due to the increasing need for sustainable energy, there has been a global effort to increase the productivity and efficiency of producing green energy such as wind and geothermal. This book specifically focuses on how to reduce waste heat that is lost in geothermal plant and reccomends on the efficient methods of harnessing geothermal power with minimal losses. The book illustrates how a special compound known as multiferroic alloy can be used to efficiently convert waste heat in non-productive geothermal plants to electricity. The technology can enable countries with little geothermal potential harness adequate power without the need of the conventional power plant that requires substantial power to operate.
