Things are slow in the international intrigues business so when Jess Reid lands in an Alaskan commune in search of her father using a false identity, Terry Reid drops in to lend her niece a hand. The idyllic wilderness fades when a hot shower and full stomach become a fond old memory; when they witness the clandestine "unburying" of a murdered community member, they know things here are not right.
