Shortly after moving to China, Julie and I joined a band of Christian brothers and sisters who have committed themselves to establishing a third culture that transcends East and West. Where is the Kingdom of Christ? Christ is King over all and as we let Him be King over what is rightfully His, we live out four fundamental values of His Kingdom creating the "third" culture. We endeavor to join together in passing on this third culture to four generations over the next twenty years creating our motto, 3-4-20. The devotions in this book were written to inspire you on your upward journey in becoming a Kindred SOHL devoted to studying Scripture, obeying its teachings, being filled with the Holy Spirit, and loving God and one another (SOHL).
