As a follow up to the author's first book, A SMARTER HEART: Unlocking the Mystery of the Human Heart, a 3 volume devotional series entitled HEARTBEAT was written to provide readers with a daily walk through the Bible highlighting verses that speak to the importance of the human heart in daily living. This devotional reveals the truth that the human heart functions in 4 inter-locking areas (Physical, Spiritual, Emotonal, Intellectual) which is substantiated in scientific studies and revealed in the Bible. This study provides 2 important spiritual growth opportun-ities, first as a daily personal inspirational guide and second as a tutorial for small group Bible studies. Each new day provides an additional layer of enlightenment from the Scriptures detailing the many ways the human heart is designed by God to transform and empower the believer's life. Each devotional book is made up of 91 daily devotions divided into 13 week segments. Each week contains 7 daily devotions with an additional page devoted to reflecting on the ways the insights gained can potentially enhance how you live your life.
