What is Ageism Syndrome and the Community Initiatives for Aging in Place?The Eldercare Professionals of America Aging in Place LTC Symposium in Print is a call to action: a call to action for local individuals and groups, nationwide to launch community initiatives that aim to eradicate the behaviors, attitudes and the denial that is knotted in the cultural fear of aging and the indifference to ageism. The purpose of this symposium in print is to address and share my findings and offer solutions to the social liabilities and burdens that have prevented our nation from establishing comprehensive plans that address the long-term care crisis in America from the perspective of older Americans.
