This book addresses Muslims' intellectual status in comparison to non-Muslim societies. Their intellectual status and achievements are compared to non-Muslims using multiple examples. A point is made that Muslim societies, in general, have long been trapped in an ideological struggle undermining their intellectual development and achievement. Possible root causes of this problem are discussed, both ideological and practical. At the end, authors suggest corrective measures to change this situation for the Muslim community.
