The tallest peak in the state, Mount Greylock, was one of his favorite hangouts and, by chance, he developed a warm friendship with a local resident - a bald eagle named Bart. One fateful summer day, Gus found himself in the grips of a deadly crisis. His life was spared only by Bartholomew's intervention.
