Lent is often viewed as the time to abstain and give up what we hold precious, such as yummy sweets or our favorite meat. But perhaps chocolate or steak is not really what's most precious to us. Our beliefs are most precious and often, what we cling to most (to our own detriment) are our fears - feelings that we are not enough, that we would be loved more if we did more, and general self-loathing and doubt. "To Be Enough" is a 40-day guide through poetry, meditations, soul stretches, and scriptures. Each day is an invitation to confront one's own heart and lay down the lies that creep into our souls.
