Love Your Naked Self is B. F. Nkrumah's apology to Black women. In this book he explores the images, ideas, practices, standards, stereotypes, expectations and intentional degradation that leads some Black Women to a place where they don't love their Naked Selves: in particular, the ones forced on them by Black Men. He believes many Black Women lack self love because of the negative seeds sown into their minds from Black Men, so this book is the uprooting of those negative seeds and the planting of positive seeds in order to grow a tree of positive thoughts in the minds of all Black Women.
