Robert Valletta

The Short Stories and Poetry of Robert Valletta

Before his debut coming-of-age and suspense-thriller novels were published, Robert Valletta created a poignant and moving kaleidoscope of short stories and poetry. This edition includes the complete collection of Valletta's short fiction, and provides an introduction to the fascinating characters and vivid events that later developed into the story lines of his full-length novels, including A Foreigner's Heart and Crossfire. The breadth of the stories extends from the small Pennsylvania town where a high school boy struggles in relationships with girls and eventually his father, to the picturesque and quiet landscape in the north of Ireland and a chance at romance, and then offers an action-packed, techno-thriller, science fiction and military-themed murder mystery with a strong lead character and an intriguing international plot.
