Ellie Nelson finds key evidence for a case she was ordered to close. Her persistence results in her being fired and the evidence taken from her, but not before she'd gotten a glimpse. What Ellie knows makes her a target of a Denver-Kansas City crime family and a person of interest for the FBI Task Force that is investigating them. Ellie has to find a way to keep her feelings for one of the FBI Agent's in check, stay one step ahead of the mob, and figure out what to do with the rest of her life.
