All Davonne ever wants is to be loved enough to forget her childhood existed. To say her childhood was terrible would be the understatement of the year. She's only in her early twenties and has been through sexual abuse, death, drugs and motherhood. Davonne never wants for her son to want for anything and because she dropped out of school to take care of him, she decided that stripping would pay her bills. She isn't ashamed of her job but she isn't proud of it either. As far as she's concerned she's doing way better than what her mother did for her. Davonne is content with her little routine that she calls life and she's even trying to move on from her broken past. After meeting Isaac she feels as if she could move on from everything she's endured and create a future. That hope is destroyed when her ex-boyfriend and first love Adrian comes into the picture professing his love for her again.
