This basic view of this work is that America has taken a strong societal drift towards secularism in recent decades, which has resulted in a cultural war in early 21st century America. Secularism is a world view that rejects traditional ethical and moral values derived from sources such as the Bible and chooses to use man as the measure of all things. The author posits that this drift is taking place under the prevailing philosophical, "winds," of Ignorance and Apathy. As a serious Christian, he considers them America's two deadliest sins.
