Jerome Browning has spent most of his life helping others, especially the residents of Crater Lake Recreational Center where he has lived for the past twenty years. He doesn't look or act as if he is 92 years old. His helping hands have enabled people to restart their lives, rehabilitate their careers, overcome physical handicaps and even chase off the 210-year-old deathbed curse of Elizabeth Hamilton, widow of one of America's founding fathers, Alexander Hamilton. Little did Browning know a long forgotten act of kindness would impact his own life. It led him to an anonymous and wealthy benefactor who turned his world upside down.
