Airplanes are subject to untold restrictions and limitations. Once personal air travel becomes more prevalent who will control these drones and flying cars? If every car owner became a passenger drone owner the chaos in the skies would be unimaginable. Because drones are at present small, the FAA sells to Marcus Why not the rights to control these passenger drones, not realizing such larger drones are already being created. Marcus also purchases from a man who has hacked into the Army computer the means to create a method to deflect bullets and rockets so they will miss their target. These two purchased are passed to Joe Millbrook when Marcus is murdered. There is a large amount of money at stake and there are many people who will kill for these programs. The Army, the Governments of the world all would like to acquire the Urban Air Mobility control and bullet refraction. This mystery avoids the complexities of computers but follows Joe and his friend Detective Charlie Round alias Rat solve this crime. It also tries to answer why Marcus chose Joe to inherit the programs and the complexities that came with them.
