S. Cavalry Remington was not a typical Yale student, who seemed to major in good times. With a $9,000 inheritance from the death of his father, the Old West called his name, wrangling, cow punching and sketches in any spare time were his past times on the ranch The sketches grew not only in numbers, after a marriage, that provided an impetus to find a job, but in quality and realism. Remington's work was the motivator behind a successful advertising campaign, the Malboro Man 'Cowboys of Remington's West' is a collection of his works that became synonymous with cowboys, the face of the old west. Enjoy this genre, watercolors, pastels, oil and branched into a mastery of bronze statue from table top to bigger than life monuments. See Remington's Old West series for more titles
