This book is mostly my autobiography but I sometimes allude to other subjects of interest to me. Though my autobiography is interesting, adventurous, and filled with many encounters with so called, "Famous People", we all know most autobiographies are just folks pounding their chests and bragging about how great they are. I want to avoid that so I write a bit differently. There are encounters with Putin, Wild Chamberlin, Hawaiian Royality, Hervie Hancock and other Jazz Artists, and others. Quite obviously I am not Gandhi or Mother Teresa though I do admire both of them. Like everyone on earth I am a walking ghost of the past, my past, my relatives past and carrying my own unique spirit. I take the journey of life as I see best and live with no regrets. Obviously my tales are from a subjective point of view. There are parts I may omit or not recall exactly the way they happened but that is a part of all autobiographies. I am telling this story because I need to tell it for myself, for my own healing, for the healing of others. There is a mystery involved that has had a profound effect on me and others in this story. The mystery surrounds the death of my Mother. I want to share with others an experience that may encourage them to think about how they live their lives. I also include in this book part of the biography of my Uncle Glen Harman as told to me and recorded. The main portion of his biography is about his experiences in WWII. He fought in some of the worse battle in the South Pacific. I think it is good to look back and see what many Americans went through to assure America's freedom and the freedom of many other nations. I have practiced Nichiren Sho Shu Buddhism since I was 19 years old and I have learned the value of appreciation. I am still working on the value of forgiveness. My goal in writing this book is to come to a state of forgiveness, but, really I am not too concerned if it does not happen overnight. I never use profanity in any of my literature, so this book is fine for all ages.
