Most poor behavior is along the lines of disruptive of the environment, thoughtless of other people, or simply self-destructive. Irresponsibility, carelessness, disrespect for others, are actions that do not help children, or adults, live full, successful lives. Not turning in your homework, not getting up on time, or being chronically late are self-destructive habits. Respecting property, privacy, and feelings will make for a happier family, classroom and, well, more comfortable life. That's just reality.
