This book has been in the making for decades. I finally reached a point in life that I am compelled to get it into print. My mother did not have the opportunities that I have had in life because she became a mom as a teenager. As I have come to learn how precious and valuable life is, my heart is filled with gratitude for my mother. This book tells our story, and it will hopefully teach, inspire, encourage, empower, validate, correct, heal, motivate, and enrich the lives of those who read it.
