On the day of his birth, the dead walked. His mother took one look at him and declared him meat. He survived, she didn't.




Now fourteen, Meat leads three of his friends on a mission to rescue several children kidnapped from the compound where they live. The trail leads to the dead city of Richmond, through a post-apocalyptic world that has moved on from caring.




Their quest is the first step on a journey that will push their friendship to the breaking point as they confront the demons of the past. In the process they will uncover the true nature of the world they inhabit as the secrets of the trinity are revealed.




A symbol as old as time itself, the trinity stands as a barrier between the light of reason, and the darkness of despair. It has grown weak and the time draws near for a renewal. If they are to save their world, and all the worlds of a vast multiverse, they must come together as one, three bound by a fourth. Joining forces to defeat the darkness gathering against them and restore the balance of power between night and day.
