Generally, people are optimistic, because they instinctively know that leaders who work for peace, freedom, good health, harmony and prosperity, and who are honest, modest and inspire trust - will ultimately succeed. From a world sustainable peace, good health, freedom and prosperity point of view, this October 2020 had - beside the disturbing news of great increases in war-related expenses and preparations - the unusually complicated COVID-19 pandemic continues to be a serious medical issue, which shows the need for a unified world, focused on the health, wellbeing and freedom of all people. Now some good news: a team at Vanderbilt University developed a back-assist exosuit; specialists make bioplastics based on a polymer called polylactic acid (PLA), which allows plastics to be biodegradable; Amazon will hire 100,000 seasonal workers for holidays; using artificial intelligence and MRI scans researchers identified signs of osteoarthritis three years before diagnosis; portable sequencing is making it possible for geneticists to bring the lab to the field. In this World Monthly Report, which is the 48th in total, we included the most relevant news, in a balanced approach, usually directly from the source, to help the general public better understand the realities around us. Being well and correctly informed is a sine qua non requirement for everybody, in order to make the right decisions for the future, which future begins to take shape in our recent books. This World Monthly Report provides the information needed for making the best-informed decisions. Enjoy this World Monthly Report, and be optimist!
