We live in a sinful and fallen world where innocent people are hurt and the righteous are persecuted, yet we are told that we're loved by an all-powerful and gracious God. We wonder how to reconcile loss and pain with the image of God as a good father. Often this is one of the most challenging parts of our faith.




The Scripture says to love our neighbors as ourselves, but this often leaves its hearers confused and without direction. We struggle to view Godly love through a worldly lens and miss seeing the truth of God's love. This book endeavors to explain how we can embrace the view of love as God intended it.




Neighborly examines love and how it relates to every part of our faithful walk with God-such as hope, faith, joy, grace, justice, and more. Understanding each piece in relation to the whole shows us a love that far exceeds our own expectations. Love is not just a feeling, nor is it solely determined by our actions, but instead, it's a way of viewing the whole world as if we are seeing through the eyes of God.
