This manual describes the Tatarstan public Space program as a model of participative design. It is also a memory of the people who co-created public spaces in the urban and rural areas of Tatarstan over the past five years. It displays a selection of the different scales and typologies of public spaces with personal narratives from the multiple actors and stakeholders of the participative design process.

This book presents the award-winning program for co-creating public spaces in Tatarstan. It is both a memory of the people and a manual of the processes that created parks, promenades, embankments and public squares across the urban and rural areas of the Rebublic.
