Gripping the banister over an atrium seven floors down was more frightening than she thought. As Amy gazed outward through crystal clear glass that imposed a panoramic view of the city, she was astonished. The infinite view of normalcy before her as opposed to the gnawing terror within were dynamically opposed. She stood in the place that would offer help in the battle over pain.

As the author seeks treatment for an excruciating painful condition which flipped her world overnight as she slept, Amy embarks on a journey in which she never planned. The long way home to normality led her through the meandering maze of physicians, physical therapy designed for pelvic floor dysfunction, acupuncture, eastern philosophy, dietary supplements and affirmations through words. A daily regime of specific muscle lengthening and relaxing techniques was the ticket to relief out of this foreign Land of Pelvic Pain in which she felt she was an accidental tourist.

Along the way her view of life is challenged to throw selfimposed restrictions into the wind and develop a plan that works for her. Amy extends an invitation to join her on this journey of hope.
