Maxies Monster and the Jar of Stars
Lili Shang
This story revolves around Maxie, a young girl who, like all of us, has a naughty inner monster. When Maxie listens to her monster, she gets more than she bargains for. Maxie learns the hard way that she has to take actions to correct her misdeeds. As she continues to improve and build good behaviors, she is rewarded in many ways.
The back cover asks: "What's the easiest way to lose the trust of your friends and family? How hard is it to win that trust back? Maxie finds out the hard way... She is no angel and her monster is no help at all."
Follow Maxie as she learns how listening to her inner monster can really mess things up. And how she can turn those messes around.
