Age does not always determine the quality or quantity of wisdom. Sometimes out of the mouths of babes comes profound statements and observations about all stages of life. Love Means... explores one aspect of juvenile thought patterns. Inspired by a tiny group of math students, this picture book shares the ideas of ways one can say "I care" without uttering a word. There will be other installments of the Love Means... series in months to come.

Author Dr. Patricia L. Powell is a career educator whose experiences run the gamut from Classroom Teacher to Principal and College Professor. She has a number of works in progress that are as varied as her experiences: books on marriage, phonics manuals, puzzle books, myths, biblical treatises, and two fictional pieces.

Nancy Liles is an aide at a Quaker school in Philadelphia and the mother of a college age son. She does murals and commissioned works in several media.
