The Duck that Couldn't Quack

Mother Duck often thought about her lost egg and this made her very sad, but she hoped to find it one day. In the excitement of the duck Olympic swimming tryouts, Mother Duck accidentally laid her egg that she named Quack-A-Nack in Mother Hen's nest. When Mother Hen found the light-blue egg in her nest and it hatched, she knew he was special.

Finis T. Jones, 1929-2017, was a lifelong storyteller. Born on a farm in Honey Grove, Texas, he loved writing and sharing his stories until his death in Tomball, Texas.
