Carlos sighed as he listened. It was over. The whole ordeal was finally over. Although he still held some resentment for Manuel, Carlos could not help but to feel sorry for him. Indeed, the reluctant gang member had truly wanted to get out of Las Rocas. He had apparently made an abrupt change of heart, sincerely confessing his sins and hoping for a better future. But instead, he was left with only one tragic way out which, in the end, Manuel had no choice but to accept.
