Dearest children, we need to understand thatour prayer is like lighting a house. Just as we put light ina house, just as we decorate a house, and just as we clearand beautify it, we must do this to our own house, thecage of our body; we must clean our house like this. Wemust decorate it, make it pure, beautify it, and place lightwithin it. Precious jeweled lights of my eye, to do this inour cage is called prayer. Prayer is a priceless treasure. You must carry this treasurein your qalb, your innermost heart, and give it into thehand of AllÄh. He is the One who is worthy of receivingwhat you are giving and you must be worthy to receive thetreasure that He is giving. That is your responsibility. Youmust be ready to receive the treasure that He is giving.
