After 10-plus years of writing his travel journals, Huiyun Wang has gathered these journals together into one collection: Old Neighbor Wang's Travel Journal.

Sometimes, all people want is an escape from their everyday lives. They are not sure how, but they know they want to have a new experience. This is one of the important reasons people travel from one place to another nowadays. More than that, we travel not only for seeing more of the world, but for discovering more about ourselves in the process. A wanderlust, Wang has been experiencing the unknown, confronting unforeseen challenges, getting to know unfamiliar cultures, ways of life and behaviors in different parts of the world and put all these into his aspirational journals.

Old Wang's Travel Journal consists of 18 chapters covering author's adventures through Africa, Egypt, Greece, India, Tibet, Alaska, Antarctica, Easter Island，the Galapagos Islands and more, these are stories only Huiyun Wang could tell. By sharing his experiences of encountering new people and cultures, Wang shows how we can learn more about own culture by viewing it from different perspectives.
