The seemingly fictional tales of what LeRoy Buchholz endured are only matched by those of his resilience. LeRoy was a Special Olympic bowler and bocce ball player. He mowed lawns for a living and did odd jobs throughout town with the help of his dear friend, Rob. When Dan arrives, he is given the rare opportunity to see how truly good people can be if we just stop for a moment, and genuinely look at one another with no veils. The crazy tales of horrific accidents, bike theft, skulduggery, ice fishing mishaps, thwarted sexual assaults, and a friendship with Elvis Presley merely scratch the surface in this homage to one of the most intriguing Americans that ever lived.
