Some Days: Poetry of a Psychotherapist Linda Leedy Schneider

?This work celebrations an extraordinary journey. The images, voices, loved ones, burn with a sacred investiture. It?s an abundance of reverence for all things that give this body of work its magnificent view of the familiar and banal alike.?
?Stellasue Lee, Author of Crossing The Double Yellow Line and Firecracker RED, Editor Emeritus of Rattle

?Linda Leedy Schneider?s poetry is rich, finely detailed and in deep touch with the every-dayness of this life and world. She has the unique ability to show us the poetry in our daily lives and in our common experiences as human beings. Her poems are filled with images that are as original as a Monet painting or the music of Bach with all the wisdom of a life well lived and fully examined. Her passion and her concern for all humankind is evident in these wonderfully vivid and contemplative poems that can lead us to a keener awareness of ourselves and our own lives. I welcome this new poetry collection by Linda because it brings us closer to the heart and soul of reality.?

?Linda Leedy Schneider has done it again! The poetry of Some Days is an emotionally riveting, passionate and compassionate exploration of our complicated inner and outer selves. This poet may be ?ruthless with her words,? but such raw honesty is never easy. At times sweet, somber, and sober, Some Days is a powerful collection of musicality, of words that nurture, melt, and reinvigorate the soul.?
