Becoming the Biking Burketts Jean Wyatt

With his dad in prison, and school bully Josh making life even more miserable, Daniel wonders if his family can ever recover. But books and bikes begin to influence them all. This is a story which handles issues like alcohol abuse and bullying, in a young person appropriate way. Also deals with racial tensions along with allusions to the Windrush scandal. It has themes of forgiveness, reconciliation and redemption and shows the difference that Christian faith can make.
