This book explores some of the key issues within the elderly client legal arena, to help lawyers and other experts come up with practical solutions to help the people they work with.

Thus the book covers will validity bringing us to date with the Ilott case, covers care fees, bringing executors to account and how to deal with the growing area of LPA and probate fraud. As part of its broad but succinct coverage the book covers inheritance disputes, trusts, mental capacity and two chapters on mediation with one on the law and one on the practical side.

At all points the book seeks to communicate in practical terms and to encourage the reader to think about positive and accessible solutions when helping those they represent.


ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Justin is a solicitor and mediator accredited by the Academy of Experts who founded Human Law in 2002. The firm covers increasingly a wide spectrum of elderly client issues including Wills and Probate, negotiation and claiming nursing care fees. Justin has also worked for Which? Legal advising its members on elderly client issues and is an associate member of STEP.
