The Blue Guitar
Padraig O'Morain
In these dynamic, musically-arcing poems Padraig O'Morain weaves subtle, captivating narratives with the skill and relish of a natural story-teller. The poems in The Blue Guitar conjure at once the pathos of the individual human situation and the echoes of the world beyond. The Blue Guitar is Padraig O'Morain's first full collection. His pamphlet of 20 poems, You've Been Great (Smith/ Doorstop 2008), was a winner of the Poetry Business Pamphlet Competition 2007, and he was shortlisted in the top three for the Cinnamon Poetry Publications Award 2010.
