Although Jonas is also the author of many comical poems, this volume consists of poetry about horses, cowboys, and a world that is fast fading away. As the back cover says, although somewhat jokingly, you may shed some tears in the reading of this book of poetry. The only "comedy relief", alas, exists on this back cover.
