My spine has long carried the beliefthat I am housed by fragmentsof little to no value, the sum of my parts inessential, like a table dressing up the bric-a-bracin last attemptsbefore waste-claimed. I am still scribing poetrythat desires to be more than a bruise, a landmark of my experiencesexalted to the grandeur of healing. I pray this journey that you take with mewill relight purpose, so that you may meet comfortablyin the processof your crawl spaces gracing light, a refraction birthed by newfound faith. - - - A testament to the experiences (prime and current), that have tailored the young woman I am today: familial physical and sexual abuse, self-turmoil, and mental health ailments. Though I've a lifetime to go, and many more tribulations undoubtedly ahead, I am marked more greatly by the achievements I wake up every day in order to set.
