Every family has a history, but not all of us know what those that share our name and genetics did in the shadows of the past. Some of us may not know who our forebears were, yet even these lost relations impact our lives years later. Charlie is having a bad week and he thought last week was bad enough. Whilst learning new things about a family he didn't know he had, he's realised that much can change in a century and from lofty heights his lineage has fallen low. How low though, is something Charlie can't begin to imagine. The echoes of history are reaching forward to well and truly screw him and his life over. If he'd known, he never would have started investigating his family tree in the first place. The story is told in two hundred, two hundred word tales, the twists of one family's journey from the edge of the 19th, through the 20th and in to the dawn of the 21st century. Inspired by diaries and a desire to create a novel consumable by a generation more comfortable reading 140 character than reading a novel. Two Hundred is a novel for the swipe right generation.
