Chapter 11 He stepped off the plane into her awaiting arms. She arrived at the airport early, afraid of being one second late. She could not wait to see her man again. Months had passed. One thing led to another, first his brother, then his mother, then his other brother, but whatever the reason, it kept him from returning to her. He had to make sure everything was right at home before he could return. His brother needed a lawyer; even though he was guilty of the crime, he could not stand before a court of law defenseless. He helped his brother. The court date was pending. Finally, things settled down, and he could return. He looked better to her than the last time she saw him. She knew he didn't like her to talk about his good looks, so she would pretend it was the clothes that made him look so good. She would complement the clothes instead of him. He was so sexy (to her). It didn't matter what others thought. He would always be her man no matter what. She learned through much reading and studying that true growth can only come from adversity. He had much adversity. He was showing true growth, and she was proud he was her man. No woman wanted a man that didn't know how to treat a woman. No woman wanted a man that didn't understand a woman's needs. Every woman needed to feel that she was the most important thing in the world to her man (other than God of course). She was so grateful he had learned that lesson. Not that she was a jealous woman; she just needed to feel that she was first. She kissed him long and hard in the middle of the airport. She didn't care who witnessed this display of affection. The thought of sex took up125 room and board in her thoughts. It had been that way for several months, ever since he left. Some researchers claim that men think about sex about fifteen times a day, or something like that. Well, she must be a man; it consumed her. She had to get married really soon to save herself from those all-consuming thoughts (she hoped he felt the same way about marriage). Once she was married, she would be free to think all the sexy thoughts one woman could stand.
