Jack Dufour's battle between good and evil brings him to a terrifying scene of unexplainable deaths. In a small village north of Georgia, strange deaths have occurred. Twenty-six people were found dead, mainly children and young women, but the causes could not be determined. There was an elevated seismic activity but the death of these people wasn't caused by the earthquake, but from unexplainable lacerations present on each victim's chest as if the earthquake tremors actually occurred from within their bodies. The form of the wounds precisely outlined the sign of the cross. Why have the chests of these poor kids been slaughtered? Why the sign of the cross? Why a cross-shaped slashing? What does the Black Lady want to tell us? What is the sense? And if there is a sense, will it repeat itself?
