After Halloween last year, my 2-year-old son, Ivan, developed a sudden fear of monsters and being in the dark. He started struggling to sleep. He would often wake up - in tears - saying: "monsters... I'm scared..." Following that, my husband and I regularly try to explain who Jesus Christ is to him but he doesn't understand. So I decided to make a children book, that simplifies who Jesus is. The book is called "Jesus My Hero" because he died on the cross for our sins and SAVED us from eternal damnation. He is the ultimate superhero! The book is only 10 spreads (20 pages) long, so it can be read every night to our little ones. And when they're old enough, they can read it for themselves! Jesus My Hero addresses Jesus' power in the matters of fear, sickness, anxiety and general everyday needs (i.e school life) - all which affect our young (and older) children in this day and age.
